Women in Africa (WIA54) Program 2022 for African Women Entrepreneurs (€10,000 prize)
The women in Africa (WIA54) Program 2022 for African Women Entrepreneurs is now accepting applications.
Women in Africa (WIA) has pledged to help 10,000 African women entrepreneurs by 2030 through training, mentorship, communication, and access to capital through its WIA54 program.
By 2030, they want to have contributed to the creation of 100,000 employment and the development of $10 billion in income for Africa’s economy.
This year, 540 candidates from 54 African nations will be chosen to participate in the WIA community’s Bootcamp training and individualized mentorship program. The best applicants will advance to the pitching phase after completing the mentoring/pitch training phase, which will provide them with access to investors and “seed funding.”

Benefits
The 54 nation laureates and 9 sectoral prize laureates will be chosen by the jury and will get a comprehensive package of support to help them succeed:
- 54 laureates will be given the option to enroll in an MBA program at one of Honoris United Universities’ partner universities, as well as a €5,000 communication highlight on WIA social media.
- 8 Revelations will benefit from a communication promotion worth €8,000
- A €10,000 award will be given to the winner of the Gold Award.

Become a member of one of the eight basic business categories:

- Food science and technology

- Fintech

- Industry of Beauty
- Industries of Creativity
- Health & Healthtech
Selection Criteria
- Product, service, or technological innovation
- Scalability of proven business models
- Potential for rapid expansion
- Team with a lot of ambition and a lot of execution skill
- traction in the market (revenue, number of users, funds raised)
- Africa’s potential effect
