The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian organization, saving and transforming lives by providing emergency food assistance and working with communities to increase nutrition and resilience.
Emergency assistance, relief and rehabilitation, development aid, and special operations are all priorities for the WFP. Two-thirds of our work takes place in conflict-affected countries, where individuals are three times more likely to be malnourished than in non-conflict nations.
Financial Benefits
- The monthly stipend is $1,000 USD.
- You will be responsible for planning and paying for your travel and lodging, although WFP will reimburse travel tickets for applicants who are citizens of poor countries and are completing their studies in their native country.

Are You Eligible For This Internship?
- Currently enrolled in or just graduated from a recognized university
- At least two years of undergraduate study completed

- English is a useful skill (other UN languages are a plus)
