Through the Drug Abuse Prevention Center (DAPC), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) supports groups that apply evidence-based initiatives to reduce drug use.

The goal of this Grants program is to build civil society’s ability to prevent drug use throughout the world by implementing evidence-based substance use prevention interventions with a focus on adolescents.

This Request for Proposals aims to grant financing to non-profit organizations working in the field of drug abuse prevention whose initiatives aim to implement evidence-based substance abuse prevention.

UNODC-DAPC Grant Program Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following conditions to be eligible for the UNODC-DAPC Grant Program 2022:

  • Be non-profit organizations that have been registered with the appropriate laws of the nation for at least two (2) years.
  • Prior experience in drug abuse prevention, health promotion, youth empowerment, or other similar sectors is preferred.
  • Applicants must be financially capable of managing and administering the award.

Application for UNODC-DAPC Grant Program

How to Apply: This Call for Proposals is organized in stages.

Interested candidates must first submit a concept note, which will be assessed according to a set of criteria.

The UNODC will evaluate the concept notes and ask candidates to submit comprehensive project proposals.

Selected candidates will be contacted individually and given more information, including the application documents they need.

Applicants who have been shortlisted will be requested to register on the UN Partner Portal.

Email the Concept Note Application Form (Annex 1) and a signed copy of the Self-assessment of Eligibility (Annex 2) to [email protected] with the subject line ‘DAPC Grant 2022’.
