Fully-Funded University of Nottingham PhD studentship 2022
The School of Geography at the University of Nottingham (UK) is seeking applications from adequately qualified applicants for a three-year PhD studentship starting in fall 2022.
Applicants must have an offer to begin a PhD research degree program in the School of Geography between October 1, 2022, and February 1, 2023. It is recommended that you begin your application as soon as possible.
The fully-funded PhD studentship in the School of Geography will cover tuition at the Home/EU rate (£4,625 for 2022/23) and include a full-time annual stipend similar to RCUK rates (currently £15,609).

The studentship will support PhD research in any discipline of geography, as long as it is related to one of our four study themes: geosciences, environment, and society, economic worlds, cultural and historical geography.
University of Nottingham PhD studentship | Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria to be considered for a fully-funded Ph.D. studentship at the University of Nottingham:
- International students are required to apply.
- Between October 1, 2022, and February 1, 2023, applicants must have an offer to begin a PhD research degree program at the School of Geography.
- Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in the appropriate discipline or its equivalent.
- Applicants must be prepared to enroll in a University research program.
