Under the special initiative “Development-Related Postgraduate Courses,” the University of Hohenheim, in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), invites applications from eligible candidates from developing countries to take up scholarships for an MSc. Agricultural Economics program (EPOS).

Scholarship recipients typically have worked for a public authority, a state institution, or a private company in a developing country, and thus have experience planning and implementing directives and projects with a focus on development policies related to technology, economics, and/or social impact.

University of Hohenheim DAAD-EPOS Scholarships | Eligibility Criteria

Applicants for DAAD Scholarships for Developing Countries at the University of Hohenheim must satisfy the following requirements:

  • International students are required to apply.
  • Applicants must be citizens of a developing nation in order to be considered.
  • Applicants must have been accepted into the University’s M.Sc program.
  • Prior to the date of application, you must have at least two years of professional experience following your bachelor’s degree.
  • Academic degrees must be no more than six years old.
  • Intentions and motives associated with the development
  • By the application deadline, you must not have lived in Germany for more than 15 months.

Scholarship Benefits

The following perks will be available to successful applicants:

  • Tuition for the two years of the Agricultural Economics Master’s program will be waived for scholarship applicants.
  • They will be covered by medical insurance.
  • a monthly allowance for living expenses,
  • Costs of travel to and from Germany, as well as research
