University of Denver Post-Doctoral Fellowship: The Sié Chéou-Kang Center for International Security and Diplomacy and Oxfam America are looking for competent individuals for a unique post-doctoral scholar program at the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies.

The University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies is an interdisciplinary professional school of international studies that educate students for employment in government, business, and non-profit organizations.

This job will act as a link between Oxfam and the Sié Center, facilitating the development of a joint initiative.

University of Denver Post-Doctoral Fellowship | Details

The following key tasks would be required of potential post-doctoral applicants for the University of Denver international fellowship:

Conduct independent and collaborative research on more egalitarian and sustainable economic models, with an emphasis on policy-relevant inquiry.

Develop a combined Oxfam-Sié Center collaboration initiative with organizational partners (workshop or other sets of activities that will increase cooperation between the organizations and promote joint interests).

Work on further research projects with Sié Center academics and Oxfam personnel as appropriate to their interests and skills.

Participate in Oxfam and the Sié Center’s programs and seminars.

Present results to multidisciplinary academic audiences as well as Oxfam professionals working on research, policy, and programming.

Requirements for the University of Denver Post-Doctoral Fellowship

Applicants must fulfill the following eligibility requirements to be considered for the programs:

Significant progress toward a PhD in Political Science or a related field.

Applicants must complete all PhD requirements by August 1, 2022, and be no more than two years away from receiving their degree.

Agenda for policy-relevant research on fair and sustainable economic models.
