UNIUYO Pre-Degree Admission Form, 2022/2023

UNIUYO Pre-Degree Admission Form for the 2022/2023 academic session has been released. See admission requirements and how to apply below.

For the academic year 2022/2023, applications are solicited from adequately qualified candidates for admission into a one-year Pre-Degree Program in the University of Uyo’s listed Faculties. The following programs are available:

UNIUYO Pre-Degree Admission Requirements

• A computer-based test (CBT) will be used to determine admission to the Pre-Degree program.
• Candidates must have credit passes in at least five (5) “O” level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Agricultural Science is accepted in place of Biology for Agricultural Education and Agriculture candidates only), obtained in not more than two SSCE (WAEC/NECO, GCE, or NABTEB) sittings.
• Candidates for admission to the Faculty of Agriculture should have a minimum of five (5) “O” Level Credit passes in NECO, WASC/GCE, including Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Mathematics, English Language, Economics, Geography, or Physics. A pass in Physics is required.
• Agricultural Education candidates must have five (5) “O” Level credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Biology (or Agricultural Science), Mathematics, and any other subject.
• Candidates for admission to the Home Economics Education program must have five “O” Level Credit passes in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, or any other subject.

NOTE: For admission to this program, a JAMB score is not necessary.

MAJOR COURSE REQUIREMENT

All successful candidates must register for and take the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with a total score of 180 (one hundred and eighty) in the required UTME subject combinations into programs of their choice from the list given in A to C above.

How to Apply for UNIUYO Pre-Degree Admission Form

Candidates must pay a non-refundable payment of N10,500.00 (ten thousand five hundred Naira) solely via the Remita Payment Platform.

1. Go to www.uniuyo.edu.ng or http://eportals.uniuyo.edu.ng (Click on the link to e-portals).
2. Click on the Create Account Link after selecting Pre-Degree Link.
3. Fill in your information and click the Create Account button.
4. Select Make Payment.
5. Choose Bank Option or Card Option
6. Select Generate e-Invoice (Bank Option) or Online Payment (Card Option)
7. Select Print e-Invoice (to produce a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number that may be used to pay at any Bank Branch).
8. If you selected the card option, choose a payment method and then click Pay. Enter your card information on the provided payment platform and click the “Pay” button.
9. Return to the portal and click on Login Form Link to finish your registration. Enter your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number obtained at the bank or by card.

Note:

(I) During the Screening Exercise and following the offer of admission, the same passport image used for online registration will be utilized.

(ii) After submission, no complaints about incorrect bio-data or a blank image will be considered.

(iii) Candidates who upload incorrect bio-data will be dismissed instantly.

(iv) The same approach is used for fee payment.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Registration will close on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

ONLINE SCREENING EXERCISE DATE: Candidates will be notified of the date for the online screening exercise.
