This is to inform all graduate candidates who have a passion for making a positive impact in his/her community to apply for this fellowship program.
The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is a non-governmental organization that works toward ensuring that all pregnancy is important and children are safe.
However, they have open an application for graduates who wants to add value to his/her community.
As an applicant, you must be between the age of 18 to 26 years.
Secondly, you must be a graduate from any Ghanaian Tertiary Institution.
Moreover, this program is a yearlong program in which his third edition was in 2020 and the applicant will serve till October 2021.
As an applicant or successful candidate, you’re expected to contribute positively towards the United Nations.
They will also provide you with more opportunities and empower you with training.
The third edition is from 1st November 2020 to 28th October 2021.

Requirements for UNFPA Ghana Youth Leaders 2021.
To apply for the UNFPA Ghana Youth Leaders fellowship program, you need to meet the following criteria:
- You must be a graduate from any Ghanaian Tertiary Institution.
- Aged between 18-26 years
- Have a passion for contributing positively to community development.
- You must demonstrate interest and dedication to development issues established through either volunteer experience, work experience, affiliations with a youth network or NGO, in areas of UNFPA’s mandate.
- You must possess strong interpersonal skills
However, one of the prerequisite for participation is having good knowledge of English.
Also note that, all your appliction must be submitted in English.

To submit your application to the UNFPA Ghana Youth Leaders (YoLe) Fellowship Program, you need to follow the below-listing procedures.
- You must demonstrate interest and be good at activism.
- You are also required to submit a statement explaining your professional goals and ambitions in not more than one page.

Selection Process of UNFPA Ghana
The UNFPA Ghana Youth Leaders (YoLe) Fellowship Program selection procedure is always based on demonstrated activism.
You need to show more interest in the betterness of the community youth and the right desire to network with more individuals.
However, you need to tell the panelist a clear explanation of how the fellowship will benefit their own efforts for advancing human rights as defined by UNFPA’s mandate.
*The YoLe Fellows are expected to work full-time at the UNFPA Ghana Country Office in Accra, Ghana. Fellows may not be otherwise engaged during the fellowship
