The Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize was established to find and honor leaders who are inventive, daring, dynamic, and, most importantly, ethical.

Leaders who are inspired by obstacles rather than overwhelmed by them. Leaders who show a commitment and aptitude to handle the complexity of 21st-century reality in novel, risky, and value-based ways, and whose work has a global aim or meaning.

The Prizes are given out yearly to exceptional leaders who show a desire and ability to face the complexity of 21st-century issues in creative, risk-taking, and ethical ways, and whose work is global in scope or impact and is based on universal ideals.

Eligibility for The Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize :

  • Leaders from any discipline and any part of the world are eligible
  • $50,000 and $10,000 awards
  • 7 prizes in total from 2 categories: 2 established and 5 emerging leaders
  • Winners become part of a network of global leaders
  • Worldwide exposure amplifies an honoree’s influence.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s generous sponsorship enables us to honor two established and five developing leaders this year:

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s generous sponsorship enables us to honor two established and five developing leaders this year:

  • Each established leader will be honored by the Tällberg Foundation in a virtual ceremony towards the end of 2022, will receive an unrestricted grant of $50,000, and will be encouraged to participate in the global network of Tällberg leaders;
  • Each emerging leader will be honored by the Tällberg Foundation in a virtual ceremony towards the end of 2022, will receive an unrestricted grant of $10,000, and will be offered the opportunity to participate in a mentorship program with the Tällberg Foundation’s leadership network.

Application Procedure for The Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize :

A leader from any nation and from any field, such as politicians, statesmen, scientists, educators, social entrepreneurs, CEOs, environmentalists, artists, religious and military leaders, and others, maybe nominated by anyone, anywhere (excluding award jurors).

The Prize procedure is conducted entirely in English.

Nominations are made in the form below in five simple steps:

  1. Provide your and the nominee’s contact details;
  2. Describe the ways in which the candidate meets the core prize criteria;
  3. Share the nominee’s career highlights with us;
  4. Add any relevant supporting materials for the nomination;
  5. Push submit/save

You can submit up to two submissions per person, and if you need to edit your submissions before the final deadline on Tuesday, April 30, 2022, use the link in your confirmation email.
