For the academic year 2022/23, the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund is accepting applications for the TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Program.

Education, unsurprisingly, is a critical vehicle for emerging nations’ workforce training.

As a result, the TaiwanICDF offers higher education scholarships and has built undergraduate, graduate, and PhD programs in collaboration with prominent Taiwanese partner institutions.

Worth of Award

  • Each scholarship winner receives a full scholarship from the TaiwanICDF, which includes tuition, books, and living expenses.

  • Ph.D. Program: Students get a monthly stipend of NT$17,000 for their studies. The monies are used as a food and other living expenditure stipends for each program. As a result, they are deposited on a monthly basis into the student’s local bank account.

TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Requirements

The student must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for this program:

  • Be a citizen of one of the countries listed on the List of Countries Eligible for TaiwanICDF Scholarships, and meet any other requirements set out by his or her country and/or government.
  • Be neither a Republic of China (Taiwan) citizen nor an overseas compatriot student.
  • Obtain admission to the partner university at which s/he has applied to study.

In the same way, the learner must

  • Having the ability to meet all of the conditions for a Resident Visa (Code: FS).
  • Not hold any other ROC (Taiwan) government-sponsored scholarship after obtaining a TaiwanICDF award.
  • You must not apply for another TaiwanICDF scholarship in a row.
  • Have never had a scholarship or been expelled from a Taiwanese university withdrawn by any ROC (Taiwan) government agency or connected institution.

All applications for the TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship should be made online via the official website.

Deadline: The scholarship application will be available until March 15, 2022.
