Texas Agricultural Finance Authority (TAFA) Young Farmer Grant Program 2022

The Texas Agricultural Finance Authority (TAFA) Young Farmer Grant program for 2022 is now accepting applications.

TAFA Young Farmer Grant Program

The goal of this program is to give financial help in the form of dollar-for-dollar matching grant funding to young agricultural producers who are starting or developing a company in Texas.

TAFA’s Young Farmer Grant Program aims to:

  • Develop and support Agriculture in Texas
  • Assist in meeting a financial demand that might otherwise go unmet.
  • Assist in the expansion of a business that has a positive influence on the community.
  • Hobby farming will not be supported using TAFA money. A hobby farm is a small-scale farm that is run largely for enjoyment rather than for profit.
