Summer Dissertation Writing Fellowship 2022 for Latin American Graduate Students
The Summer Dissertation Writing Fellowship 2022 is now accepting applications.
Graduate students in the last phases of dissertation preparation may apply for funds from the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of California (UC Berkeley).
This grant is for advanced graduate students in their last year of PhD dissertation writing who are working on Latin American Studies topics (broadly defined). Applicants from all disciplines interested in Latin America are encouraged to apply.
Funding amount:
A stipend of $2,500 is provided. The funds will be distributed this summer.
Summer Dissertation Writing Fellowship | Eligibility Criteria
Latin Americanists of various disciplines are welcome to apply.
Graduate students should be nearing the completion of their dissertations.
Application
Please send a one-page proposal (double spaced) with the following information to apply for funding:
- Your full name and professional affiliation
- The title of your dissertation and the members of your committee
- a quick summary of your dissertation’s subject
By April 15, 2022, email PDF applications to [email protected](link sends e-mail). “Summer Dissertation Writing Fellowship” should be the topic of your email.
Deadline for applications: April 15th. Funding choices will be determined by May 15th.
