Speak at the Youth STEM Summit

The Kids STEM Summit is back, and they’re giving YOUth a stage! The Youth STEM Summit is a worldwide virtual event organized by Youth STEM 2030 to empower youth as changemakers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

They’d want to hear from you if you want to share your STEM experience, raise awareness for a cause you care about or exhibit your efforts to make a difference.

All kids aged 24 and under are eligible to apply, and they offer a variety of events, including presenting a 10-15 minute lecture, participating in a Q+A session, emphasizing a difficulty (or solution!) in a 6-minute lightning talk, or joining other speakers for a panel discussion.

Speak at the Youth STEM Summit Requirements

  • Young people from all around the globe are welcome to apply.
  • The applicant must be under the age of 24.

Session Format

There are four distinct session formats to choose from, and you may choose which one(s) you prefer on the application form.

They can’t promise that they’ll be able to accommodate every request, but if your application is chosen, they’ll confirm the day, time, format, and any additional speakers.

Presentation

A 10-15 minute presentation with (optional) slides and audience questions.

Q+ A

Spend 10-15 minutes addressing audience questions and sharing your story and advice for kids (moderated by a member of the Youth STEM Summit team).

Lightning Talk

A six-minute presentation about a local or global dilemma, an issue you care about, or a solution you’ve devised.

Panel

A panel is a conversation among a group of individuals about a given topic, moderated by a panel chairman.

Application for Speak at the Youth STEM Summit

Applications will be taken from 13:00 BST on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021, to 11:00 am GMT on Saturday, November 20th, 2021.
