LUISS University in Italy welcomes applications for the RoME Masters in Economics Scholarships in the 2022/2023 academic session.
Luiss University is currently taking applications for admission to RoME, a two-year program taught exclusively in English and aimed at a limited group of students with great motivation and talent who want to learn how to do advanced economic research.
EIEF (Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance) and Luiss collaborate to provide RoME as part of the Luiss Master’s Degree Program in Economics and Finance – Major in Economics. Students who complete the program successfully will get a Luiss Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance with a Major in Economics, as well as a RoME certificate from EIEF and Luiss certifying compliance with the program’s standards. RoME provides students with a viable alternative to Europe’s leading Master’s programs.
Worth of Scholarship
Luiss University is offering up to 15 full-tuition fee exemptions (excluding regional student welfare tax) worth € 12.300 for the 2022/2023 academic year; EIEF is also offering up to eight scholarships for € 10,000 (gross) each for the 2021/2022 academic year.
The entire sum equivalent to 15 full-tuition fee exemptions might be distributed to more than 15 students, resulting in a partial tuition fee waiver.
RoME Masters in economics Scholarships | Eligibility Criteria
All students who have earned or will earn a bachelor’s degree in one of the following degree programmes of study (inside brackets, the Italian system official nomenclature; for foreign students, the normal equivalency standards apply) are eligible to apply:
Economics and Business Management (L-18 – Ministerial Decree 270/04 and L-17 – Ministerial Decree 509/99);
Economics (L-33 -Ministerial Decree 270/04- and 28 -Ministerial Decree 509/99-). Students from various degree classes must have a total of at least 48 university educational credits (acquired or to be gained) in at least two of the following subjects in their curriculum:

How to Apply for the RoME Masters in economics Scholarships
The online application form must be submitted by the deadline to be considered for the program. The following papers must be included with your application:
- a CV
- a current transcript indicating the average grade in previous tests and acquired credits (required);
- Certification of GRE/GMAT (not required, but highly encouraged); certification of English language skills (not mandatory but strongly recommended)
