How to Calculate the Screening/Aggregate Score

Every candidate who took part in the Polytechnic Ibadan Post Utme/Screening must understand how to calculate their aggregate score for confirmation.

Follow the easy steps below to calculate your screening score:

  • Divide your JAMB score by 8.
  • Divide your score in the post-Utme by 2.
  • After that, you add both of them together.

For example, if your JAMB score is 200 and your Post-UTME score is 50, that means:

200/8 = 25

50/2 = 25

i.e 25 + 25 = 50

But some academic institutions only accept applicants based on their post-Utme scores, while others also look at their O-level and Jamb scores.
