Osun State University (UNIOSUN) Notice to Prospective Corp-members

UNIOSUN Notice to Prospective Corp-members – A notice from Osun State University (UNIOSUN) to prospective corps members as they prepare to leave for camp.

UNIOSUN Notice to Prospective Corp-members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Management has instructed that all PCMs be sensitized when they go to camp as part of its attempt to make this 2022 Batch ‘B’ a flawless exercise. As a result, take notice of the following:

  • You must visit the JAMB office to regularize your admission and present your new JAMB Admission letter to the Student Affairs Unit for updating if you altered your institution/program during the admission process.
  • Because NYSC does not accept abbreviations in names during data uploading, you must go ahead and do the necessary by writing to the Registrar and specifying how you want your name to appear on your NYSC Call-Up letter and Statement of Results. Otherwise, you would not be able to register for the NYSC camp since your documents do not match.
  • Before you leave for camp, double-check your information on your Statement of Result, Jamb Admission Letter, NYSC Call-Up letter, and other documents. Please notify the Student Affairs Unit, Room 116, Main Campus, Osogbo, if you detect any problem.
  • Keep a careful eye on the date of graduation on your statement of results and NYSC Call-Up letter; they must match.
  • Your name must remain in the same format as it appears on your student portal.
  • Revalidation is no longer automatic; if you are mobilized and do not comply with the mobilization, you must wait for two (2) batches before being remobilized. If you reach 30 years (+1 day) during the procedure, you will not be mobilized again, but an exemption certificate will be provided for you.
  • PCMs should utilize the NYSC window given during online registration to declare marital status and life-threatening health problems for the purposes of concessionary deployment.
  • Any PCMs who are visibly above the age of 18 and want to be enrolled for service must provide their WAEC Certificate with a verification pin. In the absence of a WACE Certificate, the following documents will be used to synchronize their reported dates of birth:
  1. Primary School Certificate
  2. International Passport
  3. Permanent voter registration card
  4. Valid driver’s license
  • Once call-up letters are issued, PCMs must register for the COVID-19 Test via the NDDC link on their dashboard. All PCMs who signed up for a batch but did not show up during that batch will have to take the exam again.
  • All PCMs must validate their admission using the JAMB portal.
  • PCMs should be aware of the hairstyles used in passport photographs supplied during registration since NYSC will no longer accept requests to drop or edit photographs on the platform.
