In the academic year 2022/23, Taiwan’s National Chung Hsing University, NCHU is providing scholarship to international students.
Scholarships for international degree-seeking students are intended to aid in the recruitment of excellent international students as well as to assist international degree-seeking students studying at the University. Foreign degree-seeking students are those who are accepted based on the Foreign Students Admissions Regulations of National Chung Hsing University.
The Top University Project, as well as additional money from the Ministry of Education and contributions to the University, are used to pay the scholarship for international degree-seeking students. The number of scholarships given may change based on the overall number of overseas students and available money for the current academic year.
Worth of Scholarship
- NCHU offers two types of scholarships: monthly stipends and tuition waivers.
- Monthly stipend: NT$10,000, NT$8,000, or NT$6,000 per application each month.
- Tuition waivers are available in two forms: partial tuition waivers (the same as domestic students) and full tuition waivers. The tuition waiver does not cover insurance, lodging, computer usage fees, or any other fees.
- Both the monthly stipend and the tuition waiver are available to candidates.

New students: All degree-seeking candidates apply through the foreign student admissions process.
How to Apply for the NCHU Scholarship
Register, complete the online application form and upload all relevant documents to the system.
New candidates just choose the option on the entrance application form to express their interest in applying for the scholarship.
Current degree-seeking students must complete the University’s application form and submit the appropriate documentation.
Deadline for applications: March 31, 2022.
