MOUAU Notice to Students On Closure of Halls of Residence

This is to inform all students of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) that the institution’s management has directed the closure of students’ halls of residence with effect from 12.00 midnight on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, as a result of the University’s various Staff Unions’ strike action.

With the exception of B.Agric. students who are presently on the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), all students staying in the halls of residence are advised to evacuate the halls on or before 12.00 midnight on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022.

SIWES students should submit their names to the Dean of Student Affairs for compilation and temporary housing allocation for the remainder of their SIWES program.
