Eligibility for Ministry of Education UPLIFT Scholarship

This fantastic award is available to Singaporeans who are enrolled in independent schools.

Every applicant for the Ministry of Education’s UPLIFT Scholarship is required to be aware of all of the qualifying conditions.

  • Singaporean citizens attending independent schools;
  • Admitted to school through direct and/or qualified school admissions for Edusave scholarships for independent schools (ESIS); and
  • Of families with gross monthly household income (GHI) ≤ $2,750, or gross monthly household income (PCI) ≤ $690 (PCI = GHI divided by a number of household members). (These students are entitled to a 100% grant as part of the Independent Scholarship (ISB).

Ministry of Education UPLIFT Scholarship Worth

The Ministry of Education’s UPLIFT scholarship pays $800 per year. Essentially, the scholarship’s renewal is contingent on the student’s performance.

  • (i) moving on to the next level of study
  • (ii) behaving well, as well as
  • (iii) with a family financial income below GHI ≤ $4,000 or PCI ≤ $1,000 in the following years of study.

How to Apply for Ministry of Education MoE UPLIFT Scholarship

The Ministry of Education MoE UPLIFT Scholarship does not need an application.

The Application Deadline for MoE UPLIFT Scholarship

To apply for the MoE UPLIFT Scholarship, you must first apply for secondary school admission via Direct School Admission (DSA-Sec).

After you’ve done your research and narrowed down your options.

Submit your child’s application online using the DSA-Sec portal by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4th, 2022.

Scholarships from the Ministry of Education that you may apply for in Singapore

If you are not qualified for this scholarship, you may apply for other Ministry of Education Scholarships. They are as follows:

1. Edusave Scholarships

The Edusave scholarships for independent schools (ESIS) were first launched by the Ministry of Education in 1992.

In 1993, the government introduced the Edusave initiative, which aims to improve the opportunities of all Singaporean students as early as elementary school.

2. MOE-AU Scholarship

PSC Gateway is currently accepting applications for both the MOE-AU (Full-term) and MOE-AU (Mid-term) scholarships.

Full-time scholarship applications will conclude on March 15, 2022.

In addition, mid-term scholarship applications will conclude on April 30, 2022.

3. ASEAN Scholarships
