List of Science Courses Without Physics as a requirement

I have a list of science courses without physics in which you can study at any university.

However, this list of courses those not really matter whether you had d7, E8 or F9 in physics.

You are not the only person who has really want to know which university accepts a pass in Physics.

Or which engineering course or science course that physics is not really mandatory when applying for admission?

Moreover, we will even go deeply to inform you about the list of universities that accept pass grades.

  • Any other credit pass subject.

List of Science courses to study without physics

Here is also a rundown list of science courses without physics as major.

1. Biological science

You are required to have obtained five SSCE credit passes.

It will be an addition to your Mathematics and English.

Bauchi State Univerity also requires you to obtain at least a pass in Physics.

2. Industrial mathematics

Different universities have different requirements for industrial mathematics.

For instance, Enugu State University of Science and Technology has the following as their subject requirements.

You are expected to have a credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, and an additional three subjects.

The three credit pass subjects should be either Physics, Statistics, Economics, Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, and Agricultural Science.

Another university I should mention on this list of science courses without physics is Ebonyi State University.

It is reported that the university requires you to have two credit pass in either Biology, Economics, Physics, and Statistics.

This also is an addition to your Mathematics and English credit pass subjects.

The University of Benin allows Credit passes in English language, Mathematics, and any other 3 subjects.

Three of those subjects should be either Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science or Geography.

In addition to that, The Delta State University, Abraka requires you have English Language, Mathematics and any three other credit pass.

Those three credit pass subjects you should have must be either Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Further Mathematics, Economics, and Geography.

2. Chemistry

Chemistry is still part of the list of science courses without physics.

The American University of Nigeria needs you to have a 5 credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, and any other three subjects.

Those other three subjects you are expected are as follows;

Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Biology, Further Mathematics, and Literature in English.

The Federal University of Technology Minna needs you to have at least five credit passes.

It should be in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and any other two subjects.

However, the two credit pass subjects should be either Physics, Biology, Further Mathematics, geography, and Technical Drawing.

The Federal University Dutse accepts students with ND, HND, NCE, IJMB with five Credit passes in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics/Physics.

However, they are still other universities that will accept you to study Chemistry without Physics.

Some of it is the Kano State University of Technology, and Godfrey Okoye University.

Both universities require you obtained five credit passes on English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and any other Science subject.

Ajayi Crowder University accepts Geography instead of Physics.

3. Biochemistry

For you to be admitted into this science course without physics.

You are required to have obtained a five credit pass in mathematics, English, Agricultural Science, Chemistry and Biology.

However, you can choose to replace Agricultural Science with either Geography, Technical drawing or Physics.

4. Microbiology

Microbiology is on the list of science courses without physics as the required subjects for admission.

But the decision on the credit pass or just a pass mark actually depends on the institution.

For instance, The Federal University of Technology, Minna; requires you to obtain at least a pass (d7 or E8) in Physics with Credit pass in any other Science subjects.

This is the choice of that university but other universities like Kebbi State University of Science and Technology Aliero accept credit pass in Geography or Agricultural Science instead of Physics.

If you are still doubting whether your choice of university will allow you to study microbiology.

You can easily find out about that on the Jamb brochure.

Ebonyi State University and MADONNA will admit you with D7 or E8 in Physics and a credit in Mathematics.

Observe that you can choose Geography and Agricultural science instead of Physics.

Conclusion

I believe you have now find the science courses without physics to start with.

However, these just general requirements for universities that will accept you to study those respective courses.

But do have it in mind that most universities in the region decide on what there want apart from the general requirements.

We do encourage you to do your own research about your choice of university and your choice of course.
