Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship 2022 for Young Leaders in Nigeria (Funded)

The Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship 2022 is now accepting applications. The Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship (KIF) is a one-year, nonpartisan leadership development program for young Nigerians aged 25 to 35.

The one-year Fellowship aims to build a network of high-potential young Nigerians who will rise to top leadership positions in the public sector and other fields over the next decade.

KIF is a Kaduna State Government initiative that began in 2018. (KDSG). Sir Kashim Ibrahim, the Northern Region’s first post-independence Governor (1962-1966), was noted for his zeal for education and unselfish leadership, which he displayed not only as Governor but also as a Minister at various periods.

Benefits

  • The successful candidate will be paid and given benefits comparable to that of a Special Assistant to the Governor.
  • For the duration of the Fellowship, boarding (and breakfast) is provided in a nicely furnished one-bedroom apartment.

Requirements for the Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship 2022

  • Young Nigerians are welcome to apply;
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 35.
  • Obtain a bachelor’s degree from an authorized university;
  • NYSC must be completed.

Please keep in mind that applying for the Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship is a totally online procedure. There are no paper forms to fill out, and there is no application fee or other expense associated with applying.

Applicants must write a 1000-word essay on the applicable essay topic, submit a résumé/curriculum vitae (maximum 3 pages), and include the names and contact information for two (2) referees.

The Personal Statement is a crucial element of the application since it allows you to illustrate what you have done and what your future objectives are. They seek persons who have a history of embracing change and who are eager to make changes as they go.
