UNCCD Call for Submissions: Images of Women-led Solutions to Desertification 2022
Images of Women-Led Desertification Solutions submissions are being accepted by the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). The UNCCD’s 15th Conference of Parties (COP 15) will be held by Cote d’Ivoire in May 2022.
A call to action to guarantee that land, the lifeblood on our planet, will benefit both current and future generations is the COP15 theme, ‘Land. Life. Legacy: From scarcity to prosperity.’ During COP15, global leaders from the public, business, and civic sectors, as well as other important stakeholders, will convene in order to advance sustainable land management, one of our most valuable resources.
The UNCCD Secretariat is on the lookout for innovative practices that illustrate how women can lead and innovate in the face of environmental deterioration, desertification, and drought.

For COP15 in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire, a photo show of the accepted contributions will be on display.
