What Does JAMB Regularization Mean?

JAMB Regularization is the process of making sure that the JAMB Board verifies a candidate’s current admission information with the school that offered them admission in their database. The goal is to either give the candidate one way to get admission or give them an admission letter or registration number.

The goal of the JAMB regularization process is to settle down or regulate ND, HND, OND, and NCE types of university admission, as well as to clear up a successful student’s JAMB status.

The goal of the JAMB regularization is to make sure that JAMB has the most up-to-date information about your admission and that it matches the information on your admission or registration record at the school that offered you admission.

Applicants for JAMB regularization include students who were offered admission to a college or university but don’t have a letter of admission from JAMB. Students who took a remedial or pre-degree program, like the BASIC program or the CERTIFICATE program, or who applied directly to the school. Students who were offered admission but did not register for JAMB in the year they were offered admission (ie from basic and certificate programme).

Candidates who have been admitted but do not have a JAMB record may now register on the portal.

Requirements For JAMB Regularization 2022/2023

JAMB Result for a candidate who already has a valid JAMB Registration Number.
You can also apply for regularization even if you do not have a JAMB number.
O-level result, which is WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or combined result.
Passport photograph.
Candidates’ personal information, which includes their address, date of birth, email address, gender, gsm number, marital status, names, place of origin, previous JAMB registration number, and year of enrollment.
Candidates’ Institution Details, which are: Institution Enrolled, Reason for Not Being on JAMB List, Matriculation Number, Matriculation Year, Year of Graduation, Serial Number on Graduating List, Head of Institution, Registrar.
Current course studying in the institution.
