Australia HDR Scholarship at Curtin University, 2022/23

Curtin University in Australia is happy to announce the HDR Scholarship application process for 2022.

The mining sector is funding this scholarship in partnership with Curtin University’s Geotechnical Engineering Group, which is directed by Professor Mohamed Shahin.

The fund’s goal is to develop environmentally friendly, long-lasting, and novel cementation treatment technologies, such as bio-cementation and geopolymerization, to improve the performance of mining by-product materials used in mining infrastructure applications.

Requirements for the HDR Scholarship at Curtin University

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline (H1 or First-Class Honours).

The ability to communicate in English (refer to the English language requirements on Curtin University website).

It is preferable to have knowledge or a master’s degree in a relevant research topic, as well as publications.

Worth of Scholarship

The chosen applicant will get a tax-free stipend of $30,000 per year. The scholarship will last for three years.

The scholarship will pay tuition expenses for the length of the grant if the successful applicant is an overseas student.
