$55,000 Greenlining Institute Leadership Academy Policy Fellowship in USA 2022
Greenlining Institute Policy Fellowship: The Greenlining Institute policy in the United States will provide Policy Fellowships to rising leaders who want to obtain hands-on public policy experience and engage in their personal and professional development.
Greenlining Fellows engage with the Leadership Academy to concentrate on the “harder” skills of maintaining a personal ecology while being integrated into one of Greenlining’s policy teams to conceive, plan, and execute the organization’s policy and advocacy activities.
The Greenlining Organization, founded in 1993, is a policy, research, organizing, and leadership institute dedicated to racial and economic fairness.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and disseminate advocacy or policy initiatives.
- Create and engage in continuing social media and blog activities to support ongoing policy and Academy work.
- Prepare and deliver oral presentations, as well as testify at policy discussions with relevant stakeholders.
- should mentor and supervise undergraduate students in the Academy’s Casa Joaquin program as well as Academy Summer Associates.
- Participate in all leadership development seminars to improve intrapersonal and group leadership development.
- Participate in skill-building seminars to learn about Greenlining’s policy lobbying strategy.
- Create and finish a year-long Academy project as directed by Academy personnel.
- Take part in cohort development activities as directed by Academy professionals.
As assigned, attend pertinent program, organization, and community meetings. - Meet with community, government, and business leaders to advance advocacy.
Worth of Scholarship
- They provide fantastic perks such as paid time off, health, vision, and dental coverage.
- Fellows are paid every two months for $2,467.43.
- Fellows will be paid a total of $55,000 if they complete the 48-week program.
Requirements for the Greenlining Institute Policy Fellowship
- Work experience of at least one year in a related field is essential.
- A bachelor’s degree from a college or university that is accredited is desirable.
