Georgetown University invites applications for the Global Human Development International Scholarships in the USA for the 2021/2020 academic session.
The Global Human Development Program’s purpose is to enable students to comprehend the issues of international development and give them the means to confront those challenges as successful professionals via coursework, internships, extracurricular activities, and practical fieldwork.
Worth of Award for Global Human Development International Scholarships
The Amre and Caroline Heinz-Youness Family and the William and Catherine McGurn Family generously supported at least one full-tuition scholarship and numerous partial scholarships for GHD students from Sub-Saharan Africa.
The Father Bienvenido Nebres, S.J. Scholarship provides a GHD student from the Philippines with full tuition and a half stipend. A GHD student from Asia will get a half-tuition award.
The Beeck Latin America Endowed Award covers half of the tuition for a GHD student from Latin America; a partial tuition scholarship for a GHD student from the Middle East.
You do not need to take the TOEFL/IELTS if you hold a BA from a recognized institution of higher education where English is the major language of instruction.
You will still need to take the TOEFL/ITS if you have finished some coursework at an institution where English is the predominant language of instruction.
If you transferred to a university where English is the predominant medium of instruction and received an undergraduate degree from that school, you may still be required to take the TOEFL depending on how many years you spent there.
A minimum internet-based TOEFL score of 100 is required.
A minimum score of 7.0 on the IELTS is required.
However, TOEFL results are only valid for two years after the exam date.
