Global Citizen Fellowship for Young Africans 2022/2023
The Global Citizen Fellowship program, which strives to reveal the amazing potential of young people in South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya, is accepting applications from progressive African adolescents who aspire to transform the world for the 2022/23 cohort.
The fellowship is a one-year paid fellowship designed to provide fellows with the skills and resources they need to succeed — not only at Global Citizen but in their future undertakings as well.

Global Citizen Fellowship 2022/23 | Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria to be considered for the Global Citizen Fellowship:
- You must be a citizen of South Africa, Nigeria, or Kenya.
- At the time of application, you must be between the ages of 21 and 25.
- Be willing and able to devote your whole attention to the fellowship for the duration of the program.
How to Apply for the Global Citizen Fellowship
Those interested in the Fellowship 2022/23 should submit a two- to three-minute video addressing the following questions:
- What attributes do you associate with a global citizen?
- What kind of long-term change would you like to see through the program if you were chosen?
- What are the specific socioeconomic challenges on which you are taking action, and why?
