Ghent University Top-up Grants: For the academic year 2022/23, Ghent University offers Top-up Grants to applicants from all countries on the OESO-DAC list who desire to pursue a master’s degree at Ghent University in Belgium.
Only new students enrolling for a master’s or master’s-after-program master’s taught in English will be eligible to apply.

Requirements for the Ghent University Top-up Grants 2022
Interested candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for the Ghent University Top-up Grants:
- Apply to Ghent University for a master’s or master’s-after-degree.
- When applying for a master’s program, you must have a bachelor’s degree from a respectable institution of higher study.
- When applying for a master’s-after-program, master’s you must have earned a master’s degree.
- Applicants must be citizens of a nation on the OESO-DAC country list’s longlist.
Criteria for Selection
The following are the foundations for the recommendations:
- The applicant’s qualifications for the Top-up award.
- Although there is no set age restriction, candidates under the age of 40 are favored.
- Female applicants are urged to apply since they are underrepresented in most programs.
- The master’s program’s importance to the student’s home nation.
- Validation of the student’s knowledge in his or her own nation.

How to Apply
There’s no open call for these grants, they are now incorporated in the normal application scheme to obtain admission. Only students who have been accepted into a university will be considered. The application for academic admission should be submitted by the application deadline according to the outlined procedure.
