In the academic year 2022/23, Tianjin University’s School of Environment Science/ Engineering in China is offering the International Student Scholarship.

Tianjin University offers outstanding bachelor’s programs in English with scholarships for overseas students as the “key and special major” and “great engineer major” created by the Ministry of Education, Environment, and Energy.

Worth of Scholarship

Three full scholarship quotas and seven half scholarship quotas are available in the School of Environment Science and Engineering.

The full scholarship includes the following benefits:

Tuition fees for four years
For four years, a yearly living allowance of 25,000RMB

International Student Scholarship for Environment Science/ Engineering | Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who meet the following criteria will be considered for the scholarship:

At the time of application, non-Chinese nationals must be in excellent health.
At the time of application, you must be under the age of 25.
TJU will demand an English proficiency certificate (TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.0, or passing an interview).
Candidates must enroll as ‘foreign students’ at Tianjin University and retain this status during their time there.
Scholarship recipients must begin their studies at Tianjin University in the semester in which the scholarship is awarded.

How to Apply for the International Student Scholarship for Environment Science/ Engineering

Fill out the TJU Foreign Student Application Form and the TJU International Students Scholarship (Environmental and Energy) Application Form.
By May 15th of each year, mail the application forms and all other application documents (one original and one copy) to Tianjin University’s International Admissions Office.
Tianjin University evaluates the applications and publishes the final list of selected applicants by July 15th of each year.
Applicants will get a letter of admission and JW 202; they must register at Tianjin University in early September each year.
