The University of Queensland in Australia is presently accepting applications for its electrical engineering and Computer Science Scholarships for the 2022–23 academic year.

The scholarship amounts to $3,000 for one year.

Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Scholarships Requirement

If you meet the following criteria, you are eligible:

  • completed Year 12 (or its equivalent in another country) in the two years before the award
  • enroll in one of the following programs in the year the scholarship is given, or after a one-year delay allowed by the scholarship committee:

Bachelor’s degree

  • Information Technology
  • Engineering (Honours)
  • Engineering (Honours)
  • Computer Science
  • Master of Engineering
  • don’t hold another scholarship that the Head of School deems similar.

And you’re either of the below:

  • a domestic student
  • an international student who has completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia.

How to Apply for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Scholarships

  • a cover letter was written to Professor Amin Abbosh, Head of School, University of Queensland’s School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering
  • a cover letter (no more than 2 pages)
  • a copy of your 12th-grade report card

In addition, you’ll be requested to submit a personal statement of no more than 400 words that tackles the following topics:

  • Describe your interest in a career in engineering, computer science, or technology.
  • Discuss any accomplishments, leadership positions, volunteer work, or community service you’ve done.

Deadline: The deadline for the Electrical Engineering and Scholarships is February 7, 2022.
