Deep Learning Algorithms and Architectures for Efficient Hardware Implementation PhD Scholarship 2022

For the academic year 2022/23, the University of the Sunshine Coast is accepting applications for the Deep Learning Algorithms and Architectures for Efficient Hardware Implementation PhD Scholarship.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and grow as a researcher. Applicants with research expertise (AI, deep learning, edge architectures, etc.) as well as practical hardware development abilities (e.g., FPGA, GPU, LabVIEW, etc.) will be given preference.

Worth of Scholarship

• The scholarship provides a living stipend as well as a tuition fee scholarship for three years, with the option of a six-month extension under certain conditions.
• It’s worth AU$ 28,854 (2022 rate) a year, paid in biweekly installments, and it’s tax-free. The rate is adjusted each year to match the RTP basic stipend rate.

Requirements for the Efficient Hardware Implementation PhD Scholarship

Acceptance into the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Doctor of Philosophy program

Not possessing a comparable qualification to the one for which an application is now being made

Have a First-Class Bachelor’s Honours Degree or demonstrate similar success via other academic credentials or professional research experience.
