Dr Pirkko Koppinen Scholarship | Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria to be considered for the Royal Holloway University of London Dr Pirkko Koppinen Scholarship:
- Must be an iternational student
- To study MA Medieval Studies at Royal Holloway, you must have a conditional or unconditional offer.
- You must have completed, or be on track to complete, a 2:1 degree or higher.
How to Apply for the Dr Pirkko Koppinen Scholarship
To be considered for the Dr Pirkko Koppinen Scholarship at the Royal Holloway University of London, applications must be submitted through RH Direct. After July 26, 2022, applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application.
A supporting statement of no more than 500 words is required (please note that statements that exceed the word count will automatically be rejected). This should include the following:
- What academic achievements are you particularly proud of?
- Why did you choose the degree for which you applied?
- How do you plan to apply this MA in your future research and professional path, and how will the scholarship assist you in achieving it?
The effectiveness and persuasion with which you react to the above will be used to evaluate your statement.
You must also provide your most current grades transcript from your undergraduate degree, in addition to your statement. Applicants who do not upload a transcript will have their applications dismissed.
A valid academic reference letter is required (up to 200 words). This must come from a professor who has previously aided, instructed, or collaborated with you. Please request that the academic provide their letter of recommendation (on official letterhead) to [email protected].
