The Diana Award is accepting submissions for the 2022 edition of the award, which will honor young people throughout the globe who are carrying on Princess Diana’s legacy.

The Diana Award, named after Diana, Princess of Wales, is the highest honor a young person between the ages of 9 and 25 may earn for social action or humanitarian effort.

This is the oldest award for young people, and it is only granted to individuals and organizations that are nominated retrospectively. This, they feel, is unique. Young people do not labor for the prize; instead, they show their appropriateness via their behaviors, with no expectation of monetary compensation.

The Diana Award is a foundation that was established in honor of Diana, Princess of Wales’ conviction that young people have the ability to change the world. Their purpose is to encourage, develop, and inspire good change in young people’s lives.

Worth of Award

Nominees from the United Kingdom will be invited to an Award Ceremony in their hometown, where their achievements will be recognized among their peers.

On International #YouthDay, August 12th, 2022, successful international nominees will be honored online at our International Ceremony Day.

The Legacy Award, which is given every two years, is open to both UK-based and worldwide winners of The Diana Award. In 2023, the next Legacy Award event will be held.

Requirements for the Diana Award for Young Change Makers Worldwide

Nominees must be between the ages of 9 and 25 and have been involved in their activities for at least a year to be eligible for The Diana Award.

Individuals or groups of young people may be nominated.

Nominators must present documentation to illustrate the nominee’s influence on society as well as their personal service path, based on five important criteria.

Vision, social effect, youth-led, service path, and inspiring others are among the requirements.
