DELSU Matriculation Ceremony – The Delta State University (DELSU) administration has announced the matriculation ceremony date, time, location, and procedures for the collection of academic gowns for newly admitted candidates to Regular and Diploma programs for the 2021/2022 academic session.

This is to notify all new students of Delta State University (DELSU) that the university’s administration has announced the matriculation ceremony date, time, venue, and process for collecting academic gowns for the 2021/2022 academic session.

DELSU Matriculation Ceremony Schedule and Other Details

The DELSU 2021/2022 matriculation ceremony has been scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2022, in all of the University’s campuses as shown below:

ABRAKA CAMPUS

Time: 9:00 am

Venue: Convocation Arena Behind the Social Sciences Complex, Site III Abraka

N/B: Students are to be seated by 8:30 am.

OLEH CAMPUS

Time: 11:00 pm

Venue: 1000 Seating Capacity Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Engineering

N/B: Students are to be seated by 10:30 pm

As a result, from Tuesday, March 15, 2022, all Faculty Officers are required to visit the Senate Division to pick up academic gowns for their matriculating students.

Matriculating students should be aware that all gowns collected must be returned to the Senate Division in good condition by Monday, March 21, 2022; otherwise, they will be charged a penalty fee of Five Hundred Naira (N500) for each day the gown is kept, and a penalty fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) for any gown not returned or damaged.

Matriculating students should also be aware that they should not rent their gowns to photographers, as the University Security has been instructed to seize any gowns seen with unauthorized individuals.
