Do you know how you’ve always wanted to take a coding course? Or how about that wilderness first-aid course? Or all the little costs that pile up when starting a business? What’s more important: the camera equipment you’ll need to become a content producer or the airline ticket you’ll need to study Spanish in Spain? $1,000, on the other hand, may help you get there.

CanGap Gap Year Scholarships are given to aspiring gap year students and alums who want to build a strong foundation for their future by combining purpose and passion.

Scholarship

They give two $1,000 scholarships to soon-to-be Gappers commencing a gap year in the following academic year every April and September. They also award one (1) $1000 scholarship to a soon-to-be gap year alum in April to help them prepare for their post-gap year goals.

CanGap Gap Year Scholarships | Eligibility Criteria

Scholarships are available to students who meet the following criteria:

Citizens, permanent residents, and refugees in Canada;
Taking a gap year during the next academic year;
completing their gap year and moving on to the next stage of their lives (whether it’s school, job, or another gap year! );
Between 17 and 25 years old.
