Alpine Fellowship on Freedom for Writers and Artists in Sweden 2022
The Alpine Fellowship on freedom is awarding awards to authors, philosophers, actors, and visual artists for their finest work related to the topic of the Alpine Fellowship Annual Symposium in Fjällnäs in 2022.
The Alpine Fellowship is a collection of authors, philosophers, and artists that are interested in learning and sharing in order to get a deeper knowledge of themselves and others. They prize openness – the ability to critically reflect on deeply held views; the bravery to be vulnerable – speaking from personal experience; and the desire to learn – the ability to really accept and listen to others.
They believe it is critical to assist today’s young people who may have become disillusioned by the realities of modern education. They are interested in learning more about what an alternate educational paradigm would entail. As a result, the enterprise’s spirit must be open-ended, and they welcome and seek the support, participation, and presence of anybody who is interested in what they care about.
The awards are divided into four categories:
Writing: Awarded for the finest piece of writing on the theme of ‘Freedom,’ the 2022 Alpine Fellowship Annual Symposium’s theme.
Visual Arts: Awarded for the outstanding visual arts response to the Alpine Fellowship Annual Symposium’s topic of ‘Freedom.’
Theatre: Designed to encourage aspiring theatre authors to use the dramatic genre to explore and confront philosophical concepts.
Academic Writing: Awarded for the finest academic essay written on the 2022 Alpine Fellowship topic of freedom.
