All is set for a Hitch-free 2022 UTME-JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has expressed hope for a hitch-free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) set for May 6th to 16th, 2022, after the success observed in the recently ended mock examination throughout the country.

The Registrar said during a post-examination analysis convened to perform a post-mortem of the test that the mock examination, which was held in roughly 757 venues throughout the federation, went off without a hitch.

As a result, he stated that the Board was on track to deliver the most seamless examination ever in May 2022, and he advised owners of Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers not to rest on their laurels, but to build on the success of the mock examination and deliver an even better result in the main examination.

Meanwhile, Mr. Patrick Areghan, the Head of the WAEC National Office, has debunked the allegation that the 2022 UTME would collide with the 2022 SSCE for internal candidates. He noted that the WASSCE test dates for 2022 do not conflict with those for this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
